Common Setup Questions

Most issues can be solved in a few seconds.
Why isn't induction mode making the sound louder?

First, make sure audio is already playing and your phone volume is set to around 50%. Keep the phone upright, then move it slightly left or right until the phone's lower speaker area is centered over the induction zone. Small placement changes can make a noticeable difference.

Do I need to connect Bluetooth every time?

No. Induction mode requires no Bluetooth, app or pairing screen and is the default mode after startup. Use Bluetooth only when you want a conventional wireless connection or more freedom in where the phone is placed.

Can I use it with a phone case?

Most standard phone cases work normally. Very thick, rugged or metal-containing cases can reduce induction performance. If the sound is weak, test again after removing the case.

Can an iPad or tablet use induction mode?

No. An iPad or tablet can be held by the stand, but induction amplification is designed for smartphones. For tablets, use Bluetooth mode and adjust the viewing angle so the stand remains stable.

What name should I select in Bluetooth settings?

Select ZJ-027. If it does not appear, confirm that the speaker is in Bluetooth mode, then turn your phone's Bluetooth off and back on before searching again.

Why doesn't my Android phone volume stay in sync?

After pairing, open the connected-device settings for ZJ-027 and enable the phone's volume-sync option if available. The exact label varies by Android brand and software version.

How do I turn the RGB lights off?

Press and hold the M button to turn the lights off or back on. A quick single press of M cycles through the available lighting modes.

Why did the speaker turn off by itself?

In induction mode, the speaker turns off automatically after about 10 minutes of standby. Bluetooth mode does not shut down automatically, so press and hold Power to turn the speaker off when you finish using it.

Does it charge my phone wirelessly?

The current standard version provides emergency wired charging through a cable. It is intended for a temporary battery boost and is not wireless charging or fast charging.

How long does the speaker battery last?

Playback can last up to approximately 5 hours, depending on volume, lighting and usage mode. A full recharge typically takes around 2 hours with a standard 5V/1A power source.

Can I use it for speakerphone calls?

It can amplify the incoming call audio, while your phone's own microphone handles your voice. Keep the phone positioned so its microphone is not covered.
